Jessica Francesca (Mariano) Yoo

August 30, 1984 - January 14, 2016

Jessica Francesca (Mariano) Yoo, 31, of Nazareth, passed away January 14, 2016 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem as a result of injuries sustained from a January 7, 2016 car accident in East Allen Twp. She was born to Bruce and Jodi (Reichel) Mariano on August 30, 1984 in Fountain Hill and was welcomed by big brother Joshua. Jess was also the beloved wife of Keaton, with whom she shared the joy of their pup, Finley. They celebrated three years of marriage on October 27, 2015 and were together six years prior to marrying.

Jess graduated from Notre Dame High School, Easton in 2002 where she played volleyball and basketball and ran track. She went on to earn a communications degree from Bloomsburg University in 2006; while there, she was an active member of the Chi Sigma Rho sorority. She was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth. At the time of her death, Jess was completing a funeral service internship at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., of Nazareth, founded by her grandfather in 1957. Previously, she worked at Guardian Life Insurance, Bethlehem and Hobbie Personnel Services, Allentown and Lansdale.

Jess thrived on being loved and loving hard in return. Her mission was always the happiness of others. She viewed the world as only good, with a heart so big, she wore it on her sleeve. She fought for those she cared about, and forgave without hesitation. She built bridges, bridged gaps, and mended breaks. She laughed loud and often, and did everything with unmatchable passion and impeccable style. Life with her was a fantastic adventure. Our love for her is immeasurable, and our hearts are forever broken.
